Sporadic posting, leaving Stuff, joining New Consumer
First: apologies. I've been slack and intermittent with my posting lately. The reason is that today I'm leaving Stuff Magazine, where I've been feverishly setting up their new website, Stuff.tv. Starting next week, however, I'm hugely excited to say I'm working full-time with the ethical lifestyle mag New Consumer. I'm going to be editing and relaunching the mag's site, which - as it stands - is pretty but kinda static. What I'd like to know is: have you ever bought the mag? What sort of site do you want from an online UK mag about green and Fairtrade living? News, blogs, podcasts, videos, a directory, forums? Let me know on email or in the comments. Regular thegreenguy service will resume next Monday.
Awesome news mate...great stuff...look forward to your impact on the greater greener world.
Namaste

Good luck man. But if you want my honest opinion, New Consumer is thus far a fairly "light green" la-de-da thing. All about buying, buying, buying new stuff, although mildly less evil stuff. When of course we should all be talking more about not buying stuff at all, but reusing, reworking stuff etc.
Yes, the irony of being a technology journo and saying this is not lost on me. So good, good luck - happy trails.
