Freeplay cranks out wind-up lantern

It's a reading aid, it's a camping light, it's an ugly torch, it's... the Freeplay Indigo LED Lantern. On sale now for £35, the Indigo's green credentials come courtesy of the wind-up crank - 60 seconds gives you an hour's light - and the mega efficient, low power LED light. Even though you'll inevitably just use it at home when the power goes down, it's also designed for the outdoors, with a splashproof (note, not dunking waterproof) exterior. I think it'll go down  well with campers, though the £35 price tag seems steep compared to the £9 wind-up Whirlwind torch.
