Chairs made from milk bottles (left), sustainable wood tables designed by Terence Conran and hammocks made from rejected seatbelts -- these are some of the weird and wonderful green furniture pieces I've picked for the Guardian today. I'd be interested to hear what eco furniture you recommend, too. Just hit the comments below.
did you look here? they might advertise with you?

Hi,
Saw a picture of what Natural Fine Furnishing call a double twist stool in my local paper! It is a really cool piece. Their products are eco-friendly, sustainable and completely green , think end tables and stools. Most of the products are made from tree branches not trunks, therefore the tree continues to live on.
Peace~

I have loved bean bag chairs since I was a kid, but most are made from synthetic materials. Now there are many sustainable options. EcoSak is one: the fabric is made from recycled plastic bottles, and the stuffing from recycled foam or buckwheat hulls. There are other products that utilize recycled polystyrene "beans" and organic hemp or cotton covers. Check out www.eco-furniture.com for other items, or www.ecosak.com.

Wow, thats really clever! I'd never heard of people using that sort of stuff to make very snazzy looking furniture. Does anyone know of a good place to find similar high quality beds?

For green-minded beds, I suggest checking out Warren Evans. The wood is all certified sustainable (FSC in this case) and their manufacturing methods are fairly environmentally sound. The build quality's good too -- I bought a double bed from them 5 years back and it's still going strong.

I recently purchased a sectional from greensofas.com and am SO pleased with it. I can't believe the prices on their sofas. I was originally going to purchase from viesso but greensofas.com was MUCH less (sofas start at under $1,000) and the workmanship is fantastic!

The products from Natural Fine Furnishings are really cool! Unfortunately, they are a wholesaler that sells to retailers and design houses only. I found this site, http://www.terrafurnishing.com that sells these products to the general public. Seems like a very nice site that also carries other products like pottery and glassware. Worth a look!

I ordered a sofa from greensofas.com in August, and I have left several messages for the company to find out when I should expect the delivery. I have left two messages, and now thier voicemail says it is full. I am getting nervous. Has anyone heard rumors about this company are they reputable??
